Facts about the band Status Quo

Founding members of the band: Francis Rossi along with Alan Lancaster
Present day members: Francis Rossi, Andy Brown, Matt Letley, Rick Parfitt and John Edwards aka Rhino.
Former members: John Coghlan, Roy Lynes, Alan Lancaster, Jeff Rich and Pete Kircher.
Since the 1962 till date it has produced myriads of albums and of various types. Of these, about twenty songs have individually topped the charts of the UK as well as the US as the best selling and most heard songs of the year. Ever in the history of rock has this happened? No, it has not and therefore is it so remarkable. The albums that they have released till date and the year of release are all listed below.
Their first album was the “Picturesque matchstickable messages” released in the year of 1968.
Second album: a minor one really but nonetheless worth remarking, the “Spare parts”. This album marks an end of a style quotient of the band. With their new album they move forward.
Next album: “Ma Kelly’s grease spoon”. The sound has become mire hard rock and has an intensity that was not there initially.
Then followed a line of other albums like the “dog of two head” in 1971 and the “piledriver” in 1973 and many more chart rankers and more albums which ultimately gave them the summit they enjoy today.
